A DAY OF TRAVELING THE MOUNTAINS OF BUKIDNON

I woke up due to the ring of my cellphone, it was my classmate texting me 'good morning". I felt bad because I was still very sleepy but there was a stimulus telling me to get up and get ready for this "big day". So I did got up and ate my breakfast. I took a bath and hurriedly got dressed. I made sure that all my things were complete, I went to Angela's house because I and Judith will be going with her to school. When we reached the church almost all of the people there were clapping their hands for us. ( haha)

All of us went to our van then, my van mates were all very excited and full of energy. When I went inside the van I felt a little awkward becaue I was the only girl from St. Agnes but that awkward feeling was lost when we started talking and exchanging jokes. The trip started at 5:00, we prayed the rosary and ask for God's protection and guidance. After the rosary, we all felt sleepy but when the music started playing almost everyone in our van was singing especially that we had two singers in our van, Louie and Kim.On our way to the destinations we passed by the famous Atugan Bridge, all of us stop our breath for awhile and wished, because some say that if you will stop your breath and wish in passing by the bridge your wish will come true. The first and second destination were holy places so we kept our silence inside those places. One of the main highlight of our trip was eating, in our van we ate junkfoods, bread, peanuts and of course the very popular "yema". During the trip to Malaybalay City we never ran out of songs and jokes because we had the best chaperon and driver. ( lol)We always pose wherever and whenever we are, cameras are all around! Thw schools in Malaybalay that we visited were very awesome, many girls in BSU were captivated by the charisma of some of the boys! The Kaamulan grounds was such a beauty with its theme, the nature. There were beautiful stone houses and big statues, we all enjoyed it there. We also learned many things from the lecture we had in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. The best part of our trip was the RR and WAIG Spring Resort Adventure. We took as many pictures as we can and enjoyed the wonderful view just before us. We enjoyed swimming, jumping on the diving board and trying the huge slide. Some also tried the cable car adventure. All of us felt bad when we knew that is was already time to leave the refreshing waters of WAIG. Our next stop was the Crystal Sugar Company Inc. where we were learned the process of making sugar but unfortunately we were not able to see the actual makingof sugar because the place is still being repaired and cleaned. It was already around 4:00, so we went to the Central Mindanao University and made a short tour around their compound. We all felt sad when we knew that CMU will be our last stop because we ran out of time and the transfiguration is still in Malaybalay City. On our way home, we stopped by some fruit vendors to buy fruits, our van mates bought different kinds of fruits ( rambutan, lanzones, mangosteen and durian). Although we felt dismayed because we were not able to go to the last destination, we enjoyed eating the fruits we bought. All of us were singing, talking and joking. When we were alraedy in Bangcud, a very strong rain struck us, we felt sleepy becasue of the cold air plus the aircon. But when we reached Malaybalay, the rain stopped and we continued the singing. It was already dark and gloomy we already felt tired so we slept and relaxed. When we were approaching the Atugan Bridge again so we wished again in passing by the bridge. We felt happy and pleased with the trip we had. In going home, we wore big smiles thats shows happiness. We met new friends and learned new things.

Trips like this come only once and we must treasure the memories that we had and the experiences that we've gone through. We did not only learn facts and ideas but we learn more about the place we dwell in, our dear Bukidnon. We will always remember these times that we had and smile everytime we remember these. August 27, 2010 will mark a memorable day for all of us. (the sophies) A day of traveling the mountains of Bukidnon.

INFATUATIONS

As teenagers, it is a very crucial time for us because we experience many changes in our ownself, especially about having infatuations or admiring other people around us.

As a member of the teenage society, I too must say that I've been experiencing such things. But we all know that all these things are just normal and is apart of growing up, we just have to keep in mind that we must not go beyond our limits. We are still very young and we have all the time for those things. Right now is not the right time to be indulged in such commitments and focus on our studies. As for me, I have to say that I admire different people in school too because of their individual talents and charisma of course. Most of my friends also has their own infatuations also about different guys in school. I don't call it love because it's merely infatuation that is because of our young age.

I use to have infatuations towards a certain person who is a friend of mine also and has musical talents in playing instruments but maybe not in singing. Well, he's a great person also, he's a member of the school's drum and lyre. He also in present in some activities.

But right now i really don't take much time in focusing on these infatuations but have moretime for myself and enjoy life with my friends and family. I really don't think that these things can't help me in my life right now because I am of young age and i want to enjoy all the things that life has to offer me, besides infatuations are just in those little corners of life, and true love can't wait. today is not yet the right time for teenagers to indulge themselves to certain relationships because we still have a bright future ahead of us. Infatuations of others can be our inspiration and can serve as our source of happiness also. But today, that Mr. Him isn't just my priority, infatuations are enough.

NEW BEGINNINGS

Life is never permanent
People experience both good and bad moments
We are bombarded with problems
But we are also showered by blessings

When the sun sets, their always sunrise after
After each rainy day, a rainbow comes by
After each night, a new morning blooms
Behind those clouds, the sun still shines

Everything happens in a given time,
With it's purpose under heaven
All we have to do is believe in God
For life is checkered sun and shadow
New Beginnings Await!

AUTOBIOGRAPHY

November 16,1996 marked a joyful day for my parents, Edwin and Mariden Magdato. At 1:00 pm that afternoon, I was born with the name Kyra Danielle Magdato. Kyra was a name which was given by my mom, and Danielle because I was the first granddaughter of my lolo Daniel. I was born in the Phillips Memorial Hospital. I am now residing in DEARBC Homes before 12 long years of living in Phillips. I have 2 brothers and a sister. My Japanese name is "ka ra".

I am usually a serious type person before but the I changed that kind of me. Now I usually am a happy and jolly person. They say I'm smart but I really don't think so. I just view myself as an ordinary girl with extraordinary talents. I am a poetic person, I love to write different compositions and listen to music.

I started schooling when I was only two, maybe that is the reason why I usually am a quick thinker or just a person who answers everything. When I was in elementary, I graduated on top of my fellow graduates and garnering some awards which are my precious treasures. I am also a journalist and MTAP challenger. When I was in first year I was still the first honor having awards too. But my greatest achievement is to be one of the DMFI scholars.

Right now, I still can't finish this write-up because I am still halfway of the dreams I have. For now dreams are dreams that will always be my ultimate goal. Never give up and just shake those trials off!
